  2. Pricing: All prices for vehicle rentals, tour packages, and airport services are displayed in the selected currency (USD, EUR, GBP, LKR, etc.) and are subject to change without notice. Prices may vary based on:
    • Tourism season (peak season, off-season, festivals)
    • Service duration and type (half-day tours, full-day tours, multi-day packages)
    • Vehicle type and capacity (cars, vans, buses, tuk-tuks)
    • Additional services or add-ons (guides, meals, entrance fees, accommodation)
    • Currency exchange rates
    • Distance and route complexity
  3. Promotions: Any travel promotions, discounts, or special offers for tour packages are valid for a limited time and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.
  4. Taxes and Fees: Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes, tourism service fees, entrance fees to attractions, or surcharges. Additional charges may apply and will be clearly disclosed before finalizing your travel booking.

Travel Bookings and Payments

  1. Booking Process: By placing a booking on our website for vehicle rentals, tour packages, or airport services, you are making an offer to purchase the selected travel services. We reserve the right to accept or reject any booking for any reason, including but not limited to:
    • Service availability (vehicles, tour guides, accommodation)
    • Errors in pricing or service information
    • Suspected fraudulent activity
    • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
    • Insufficient travel documentation or visa requirements
  2. Payment Information: You agree to provide valid and up-to-date payment information and authorize us to charge the total booking amount for your travel services, including applicable taxes, tourism fees, and surcharges, to your chosen payment method.
  3. Payment Processing: We use trusted third-party payment processors (PayHere) to handle your payment information securely. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed in accordance with industry standards and tourism payment regulations.
  4. Payment Confirmation: Your travel booking is confirmed only after we receive payment authorization and send you a confirmation email with your itinerary, booking reference, and travel details. If payment cannot be processed, your booking may be cancelled.
  5. Currency: Payments for travel services can be made in various currencies as displayed on our website (USD, EUR, GBP, LKR). Currency conversion rates are provided for convenience and may vary from actual bank rates.

Service Delivery and Responsibilities

  1. Service Provision: We will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery and provision of the services you have booked. However, service times are estimates and may vary based on factors beyond our control.
  2. Vehicle Rental: For vehicle rentals in Sri Lanka:
    • You must have a valid international driver's license (if self-driving) or use our professional driver service
    • You are responsible for any damages to the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear
    • You must return the vehicle in the same condition as received at the agreed location and time
    • Additional charges may apply for late returns, fuel, tolls, parking fees, or damages
    • You must comply with Sri Lankan traffic laws and regulations
    • Comprehensive insurance is included, but you may be liable for excess charges in case of accidents
  3. Tour Packages: For tour packages in Sri Lanka:
    • Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control
    • We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements if planned activities or destinations are unavailable
    • You are responsible for following safety guidelines and instructions provided by our tour guides
    • Entrance fees to attractions, meals, and accommodation (unless specified) may be additional
    • You must arrive on time for scheduled tour departures; delays may result in missed activities
    • Group tours may have minimum participant requirements
  4. Airport Services: For airport pickup and drop services:
    • We provide flight tracking, but you are responsible for providing accurate flight information, flight numbers, and arrival/departure times
    • Delays due to flight changes, cancellations, or late arrivals may result in additional waiting charges
    • We will wait for a reasonable time (typically up to 2 hours after scheduled arrival), but excessive delays may require rescheduling or additional charges
    • Meet and greet service is included at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)
    • Luggage capacity should match the booked vehicle type

Customer Responsibilities for Travel in Sri Lanka

  1. Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable Sri Lankan laws, regulations, tourism guidelines, and local customs during your travels and use of our services.
  2. Respectful Behavior: You must treat our staff, drivers, tour guides, and local communities with respect. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
  3. Safety: You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your belongings during tours and vehicle rentals. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, including luggage, electronics, or valuables.
  4. Travel Insurance: While we provide comprehensive insurance for vehicles, you are responsible for ensuring you have adequate travel insurance covering personal injury, medical expenses, trip cancellation, and other travel-related risks in Sri Lanka.
  5. Travel Documentation: You must carry valid identification, travel documents, passport, and any required permits or visas for your travel activities in Sri Lanka. We are not responsible for visa issues or entry denials.
  6. Health and Medical: You should inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special health requirements before booking. You are responsible for bringing necessary medications and following health advisories.
  7. Cultural Sensitivity: You must respect local customs, religious sites, dress codes, and cultural practices during your travels in Sri Lanka.

Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership: All content and materials on our website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and software, are protected by intellectual property rights and are the property of Lanka Free Tours or its licensors.
  2. Restrictions: You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability
